WWE is a company that is always signing new wrestlers and recently some talented individuals such as EC3, Ricochet, War Machine and more have signed with the company. Now it seems that WWE officials have their eyes on two more popular indie stars.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that both Keith Lee and Walter have been offered spots at the WWE Performance Center in May.
Lee and Walter are considered to be two of the best big men on the independent scene right now, and it’s believed that Lee is going to take the spot, because he’s turned down independent dates after May.
Keith Lee was also tentatively scheduled to be part of the NJPW Strong Style Evolved event in Long Beach, California, but since he still has a contract with WWN he would have to get approval, and many in NJPW believe he won’t be working the show.
Walter’s WWE status is unclear as he’s said in the past that he doesn’t want to work with the company because he has employee status with wXw in Europe and runs their school. In the past he’s also said he’s not interested in moving.
