Last year a match between Big Show and Shaq was set up for WrestleMania 33, but after months of Show hyping the match on social media with little reaction from Shaq, it became clear that the match wasn’t going to become a reality.
Show did a great job of promoting the match, but there’s no hard feelings as far as he’s concerned
The former WWE World Champion was recently asked by TMZ if the match will ever happen, and he made it clear that he thinks that ship has sailed.
“No I doubt it. You know that was a thing that probably should have happened a long time ago, and it didn’t. Shaq’s a great dude. Who knows, hopefully we’ll do something together down the road. Do something else. He’s busy, I was busy. You get a superstar like Shaq, it’s hard to nail him down for the time.”
Show went on to say that he has a lot of respect for Shaq and he looks forward to hopefully working with him on something in the future.
