WWE is the grand destination for most pro wrestlers who want a taste of the big time and it looks like another one of Impact Wrestling’s top names could be looking to rejoin his place in WWE once again.

Bobby Lashley’s first run with WWE had a lot of momentum behind it and he was even responsible for Donald Trump being able to shave Vince McMahon’s head at WrestleMania 23 when Lashley beat Umaga. But that was a long time ago, Bobby Lashley has traveled the world since then and landed in Impact Wrestling.

But it looks like he might be taking his talents elsewhere. Dave Meltzer did note in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that some top names with high-dollar contracts might be leaving the company in some of the continued cost-cutting measures Impact Wrestling is implementing.

Strangely enough, Ethan Carter III also seemed to take his final bow with Impact Wrestling at last night’s television taping and you can read all about that here.

But it looks like Bobby Lashley’s last horrah came as he went out to the ring and challenged Brian Cage to a match. He said Cage defeated him before but he won’t do it again. After Lashley said he was going to make Brian Cage famous, he put over The Swole-verine and then exited the arena.

But before he left, Lashley had a chance to bow and show his gratitude to the crowd. Although this might not have looked like a big deal, it was very similar to EC3’s exit on the previous night.

So it looks like a return of Lashley to WWE could be very well possible. But only time will tell on that one. After all, WWE has been known to welcome back their alumni and give people second chances. With a guy like Bobby Lashley available, it might be a good idea for Vince McMahon and Company to give him another look.
