When it comes to returns you can never say never in the world of professional wrestling. There are many stars who ultimately returned to WWE after fans assumed they would never see them in a WWE ring again. So anything can happen.
Several stars from The Attitude Era have been able to ride the wave of their success right into the modern era, but Ken Shamrock isn’t one of them. The former Intercontinental Champion hasn’t been welcomed back to the company, and he recently told Wrestledelphia that he isn’t sure why.
“I doubt it. I’ve been saying this for years. I’m not understanding that with everybody that I’ve seen come back – Kurt Angle, The Rock – how isn’t Ken Shamrock there? If anybody makes sense in coming back and doing something with those guys coming back, there is no other better person than myself.”
Ken Shamrock is a UFC Hall of Famer, but at this point it looks unlikely that he’ll become a WWE Hall of Famer in the near future.
Shamrock never found the same success that his Attitude Era counterparts did, but he was still a key player on Raw during that time period.
The Royal Rumble and the 25th anniversary episode of Raw are only a few weeks away, so perhaps WWE will have a change of heart and invite the World’s Most Dangerous Man to the big stage for an appearance.
