Becky Lynch is the first ever SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, and she’s set to be the captain of Team SmackDown at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Lynch has made a big impression on the fans since she made her main roster debut a few years ago, and she has a big opponent in mind for a match in the future.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion recently spoke to Digital Spy, and when she was asked about a potential match with Stephanie McMahon she made it clear that she’s game.
“That would be amazing. I don’t think we’ve seen her in a ring – apart from that tiny altercation with Ronda Rousey [at WrestleMania 31] – since her match with Brie Bella. It was a great match and I think that was the match I was most excited for on that card at the time. It was great to see such a spotlight on the women and I think it was tremendous. I would love to step in the ring with Stephanie McMahon – she’s an incredible woman and amazing at what she does in how she can get the attention of the audience. To be able to step in there and face her would be a great opportunity.”
Stephanie McMahon isn’t the only star Becky Lynch wants to wrestle, as she also commented on Asuka saying that she’s a great talent and she wants to work with her.
“Asuka’s great and I’ve had the chance to wrestle with her – tag with her and face her – in Japan, when we went to Tokyo last year. She’s a great talent and eventually we’ll get to face off again in the ring.”
