PWInsider is reporting that former NXT Champion Bobby Roode is backstage at Raw tonight, and he appears to be the only member of the NXT roster who is at the arena. This doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to be making his debut on Monday Night Raw tonight, but the fact that he’s there is interesting to say the least.
Saturday night at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, Bobby Roode defended his NXT Championship against Drew McIntyre, and when it was all said and done McIntyre walked away with the belt after he put Bobby Roode down with the Claymore.
It’s been rumored that Bobby Roode could be getting called up to the WWE main roster soon, and the rumors have picked up some major steam over the past few days now that Roode has dropped the NXT Title.
WWE officials are said to be very high up on Bobby Roode, so it will be interesting to see if he makes his main roster debut tonight.
