This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw focused on Kurt Angle’s big secret, and Kurt revealed that Jason Jordan is his illegitimate son.
Everyone has an opinion when it comes to the big reveal, and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross noted in his latest blog that he can easily see the duo of Jason Jordan and Kurt Angle turning heel at some point.
“Might just be me but after watching the Rene Young interview, nicely done BTW, with Kurt Angle and his ‘son’ Jason Jordan on the @WWENetwork after RAW, I can easily see where Jordan and ‘Dad” could be terrific villains down the road.”
Raw also featured the return of Braun Strowman who hadn’t been seen on WWE programming since Roman Reigns locked him in an ambulance then backed the ambulance into a semi-truck at Great Balls of Fire.
Braun interrupted the number 1 contenders match between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns, and he absolutely destroyed both men. Ross also noted that from his perspective as a fan, he views Braun Strowman as a face.
“Based on what I saw Monday night on Raw regarding Braun Strowman, I can easily see WWE going all the way with the giant athlete from North Carolina. A Lesnar-Strowman high level contest down the road is going to make a compelling main event and could elevate Strowman to the rarified air community. Seems to me, simply by watching as fan, that when Braun walked away from the ambulance crash of a few weeks ago, that he walked away as a ‘character ‘face’ or a least that’s how I took it. Bottom line, it will be challenging for many fans to truly dislike this huge man. WWE has done a really nice job building Strowman to his current level.”

may be it seems funny that more WWE is trying to push Roman as a face, more WWE fans actually dislike him and hates him. and it appears to us fans that WWE is just pushing Roman down our throats weather we like it or not. where as more people have starting to like Strowman majorly because of his long rivalry with Roman despite that Strowman is a heel character on WWE papers.
what if, WWE actually want it the way it is going on. what if, WWE actually wants us all to hate Roman Reigns ? because may be many of the fans go to Raw just to see Reigns been beaten up by Strowman, and that only means business for the company. The plan could be simple, Strowman would beat up Reigns in the brawls, hence making the fans happy, where as letting Reigns wins most of the matches.
Exactly. Wrestling is changing. Old heel tactics does not work anymore. Roman is new heel, new prototype. I think they have learned it on John Cena and applied it to Roman, when they saw that he will be to much booed everytime.
