When Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns debuted on the main roster, they debuted as a trio, and they immediately made an impact. The trio debuted at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in 2012, and they shocked the world when they put Ryback through a table with a triple powerbomb.

For a while The Shield dominated WWE, and they became one of the most popular factions in WWE history, but when the group was white hot and in the midst of a face turn, WWE decided to break the trio up by having Seth Rollins turn on his brothers and join The Authority.
After Rollins turned heel, the former members of The Shield faced off against one another in various feuds, but we’ve seen them reunite temporarily from time to time.
Unfortunately for fans of The Shield, the reunions are usually nothing more than a tease, but many members of the WWE Universe are holding out hope that The Shield will reunite someday.
Now that Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are all on Raw, a reunion is possible, and the fans encouraged the trio to get back together during the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
After Roman Reigns faced off against Bray Wyatt in the main event, Braun Strowman attacked him, and eventually Seth Rollins made the save. Fans at Madison Square Garden then started chanting for Dean Ambrose and The Shield, but a reunion didn’t happen. However, Rollins did give fans some hope for the future.
As he grabbed the mic Rollins told the fans that he had some news for them.
“I’ve got some good news, and some bad news, what do you guys want first? Alright, the bad news, Ambrose is probably 15 beers deep at the bar somewhere. The good news, we hear you New York City.”
This certainly isn’t confirmation that the group will be getting back together anytime soon, but it’s nice to know that they’re listening.
