So far 2017 has been a rough year for the WWE roster, as a few stars have had to deal with injuries. Dash Wilder of the Revival was recently cleared to return, and this week on Raw Emma made her return to the ring on Raw. Now it looks like we could be seeing another Raw star return to Monday nights soon.
PWInsider is reporting that Braun Strowman has been cleared to return to the ring, and according to the report he was cleared one week ago. Strowman is expected to return as soon as creative finds a way to integrate him back into the storylines.
Strowman was written off of television a few weeks ago after it was discovered that he needed surgery to repair a shattered elbow. The Raw star underwent surgery after the recent European tour, and WWE originally reported that he could be out for up to six months.
Original plans for Great Balls of Fire called for Braun Strowman to challenge Brock Lesnar, but those plans had to be called off due to the surgery. It’s expected that Braun will challenge Lesnar for the Universal Title at SummerSlam.
