Former Impact Wrestling stars such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Eric Young and more have all found success with WWE, and now it looks like another former Impact star has also joined the company.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Thea Trinidad, aka Rosita, has signed a deal with WWE.
Trinidad is the real life girlfriend of current WWE star Austin Aries, and she also plays the role of AJ Lee in the upcoming film “Fighting With My Family” which is based on a documentary about Paige’s family.
The NXT brand has grown tremendously over the past few years. It’s gone from a small developmental brand, to a brand that’s capable of selling out the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. For the past two years NXT has taken over Brooklyn during SummerSlam weekend, and now the brand will be going for round three this year.
WWE has announced that NXT will be returning to the Barclays Center on Saturday, August 19th for NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Tickets for the event are set to go on sale this Friday at 10am EST.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn has hosted some fantastic matches during the first two events such as Finn Balor’s ladder match with Kevin Owens, and Shinsuke Nakamura’s match with Samoa Joe which featured Shinsuke’s first NXT Title win.
