There have been quite a few Mauro Ranallo rumors circulating as of late, and he recently got people talking when he removed all mentions of WWE from his Twitter profile. Ranallo hasn’t been seen on WWE programming in weeks, and according to a new report, fans won’t be seeing Mauro return to the SmackDown Live commentary table anytime soon.

CBS Sports is reporting that they’ve been informed Mauro Ranallo will not be returning to WWE and he won’t be making any more appearances on camera. It’s expected that the company plans to just let his contract expire. WWE did not confirm the report to CBS, but they did confirm that Mauro Ranallo’s contract is set to expire on August 17th, 2017.
Mauro Ranallo wasn’t part of WrestleMania 33 this year, but ahead of the event he did post a tweet wishing his “WWE family” the best over WrestleMania weekend. He has since deleted the tweet.
Ranallo has been open about his struggles with Bipolar Disorder and he’s been responding to positive fan messages and thanking people for support.
