Raw and SmackDown have been two separate brands since July of last year and the general consensus seems to be that SmackDown is putting on the better show every week. There’s something about SmackDown’s storylines that fans seem to love and Carmella thinks she knows what makes the show so special.
Carmella recently spoke to Mike Jones of DC 101 and she talked about the now infamous moment that took place a few weeks ago when Randy Orton burned down The Wyatt Family compound. The Princess of Staten Island seems to have loved the shock factor that the segment brought to the table, and she also seems to think that’s what gives SmackDown the edge over Raw.
“Everybody was shocked by that. No one was expecting it. You know when Randy said he wasn’t going to fight Bray at WrestleMania and then that happened it was such a shock. I think that’s why Smackdown is so good. So unexpected, it’s so different. And now they’re gong to be facing each other one of the main events at WrestleMania. So everyone is going to be on the edge of their seats to see what happens there.”
Alexa Bliss is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding who she will be defending her title against at WrestleMania 33, and this week on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan made a big announcement.
The SmackDown Live General Manager announced that Alexa Bliss will be putting her title on the line at WrestleMania 33, and she’ll be defending it against every available woman on the SmackDown roster.
It’s unclear at this point if all of the women will be in the ring at the same time and it’s also unclear who will be participating in the match. One can assume based on the events that took place on the most recent episode of SmackDown that Natalya, Becky Lynch and Mickie James will all be included, and Carmella also has her eye on the match.
“If you saw Smackdown live this past Tuesday, Daniel Bryan made the announcement that Alexa Bliss will defend her championship against every active woman on that roster so you better believe I’m going to do whatever it takes to get in that match.”
