Bruiserweight, Pete Dunne dominated the United Kingdom independent territories and had the time of his life excelling to the top. He eventually got WWE’s attention and almost won the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament. Many fans thought Dunne should have won the event as the two-day tournament was practically built around him.
Dunne ended the first night of the tournament by attacking Sam Gradwell to get a jump on his quarterfinals match. Some were of the opinion Dunne would be ejected from the tournament by William Regal and get immediate placement on the WWE main roster. He is a true shining jewel of professional wrestling and WWE is lucky they found him.
Pete Dunne also came very close to participating in the Cruiserweight Classic this summer, but he lost his qualifying match at a Progress Wrestling event to Jack Gallagher, and we all know where Gentleman Jack is now.
Well, Pete is practically a full-fledged WWE superstar at this point. He’s been pulled from numerous indie events and even took himself out of one all on his own. One of the first steps a future superstar must do before moving to WWE is pull any “unofficial” merchandise.
Therefore, it looks like WWE might have some big plans for Pete Dunne, as he will no longer be selling his awesome OG “Bruiserweight” shirts after today.

When Nicole Bass passed away, it hit us hard. This writer, in particular was greatly saddened by this news because she was a crossover between two passions: professional wrestling and the Howard Stern Show.
Howard Stern and his crew remembered Nicole Bass this week by playing some of her best moments during the Monday morning broadcast on Sirius XM Radio. She will be missed by more than just the professional wrestling community as her influences spread the world-over during her amazing life.
