The Guerrero family, as well as the wrestling world, lost a legend today as Chavo Guerrero Sr. passed away at the age of 68. WWE fans might remember Guerrero from his time spent as a non-wrestling personality, but he was indeed an amazing performer in his day. Guerrero died due to complications associated with liver cancer.
Although Guerrero was one of the names included in the recent class-action lawsuit against WWE headed by Konstantine Kyros, it will not mar his legacy in the slightest.
In his day he feuded with the likes of Roddy Piper and worked for the NWA and AWA, along with many other promotions. He left his mark in the professional wrestling world by mentoring young talent and teaching them the ins-and-outs of the business that he loved.
Chavo Guerrero Sr. was last seen in Lucha Underground, where his son Chavo Jr. remains in a predominant role backstage.
We here at Still Real To Us would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Guerrero family, and the wrestling world alike for this great loss. He accomplished so much in his life, and his legacy will certainly live on through the lives that he touched and the millions of people he entertained along the way.
