This week’s episode of Raw featured an appearance from Goldberg, and it looks like his pre-match headbutt got the best of him before he made his way to the ring. As soon as Goldberg grabbed a mic to begin his promo, blood started pouring down his face from a cut on his forehead.
Apparently the pre-match headbutt didn’t do his brain any favors either, as it took Goldberg a few tries to get going with his promo. Goldberg’s pre-match headbutt has become somewhat iconic over the years, but the former WCW Champion took to Instagram to say that he’s putting it off the shelf for now, because the headbutt made him a little loopy this week.
Goldberg posted the following on Instagram:

Goldberg will be competing in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday, and he’s also expected to work a match at WrestleMania, but it’s not known at this point in time if WWE has plans to use Goldberg after the big event.
Since returning to WWE back in October, Goldberg has been one of the company’s biggest attractions, so it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see his working relationship with WWE continue after WrestleMania 33. Just don’t expect him to do anymore pre-match headbutts.
