Nowadays the New Age Outlaws are a legendary tag team. But back in 1997 they were just trying to make a name for themselves. On November 24th, 1997, the New Age Outlaws took on the Legion of Doom in a WWE Tag Team Championship match. The Outlaws came out on top and won their first WWE Tag Team Championship together.
The New Age Outlaws would go on to hold the WWE Tag Team Championship for 125 days before losing the belts to Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie at WrestleMania 14 and then getting them back the next night on Raw. The Outlaws have held the WWE Tag Team Championship together six times throughout their career, but you can relive their first title win in the video clip above.
