WWE is in a bad way right now. John Cena is taking time off, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan are out of action, and now WWE Champion Seth Rollins has had to vacate his title as he’s likely to miss 6 to 9 months due to an injury. This has caused WWE to being rewriting all of their creative plans and reshuffle the deck so to speak.
WWE is in need of big names at the moment and they’ll be looking to bring in people with star power. It was speculated on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live that WWE will be contacting Brock Lesnar about working more dates. It was also speculated by Dave Meltzer that Roman Reigns is a strong candidate for the next WWE Champion, but that WWE might also be looking to bring John Cena or Brock Lesnar back early.
Of course this is just speculation but it’s not hard to believe that WWE might hotshot a return for Lesnar. WWE is in desperate need of star power right now and Brock Lesnar has plenty of it.
It was originally believed that Brock Lesnar wouldn’t be returning until early 2016, but he’s no being advertised for a live event at The Forum next month. However with the recent Seth Rollins situation tearing WWE’s creative plans to shreds, it sounds like we could be seeing him even sooner.
