Alberto Del Rio blew the roof off of the Staples Center last night when he made a surprise return to WWE. Not only did Alberto Del Rio make a surprise return, he actually defeated John Cena to become the new United States Champion.
Although there are conflicting reports in regards to who contacted who, Del Rio’s deal was reportedly done weeks ago and it was always the plan to have him challenge John Cena at Hell in a Cell according to F4Wonline.com. It’s being reported that Alberto Del Rio has signed a very good deal and although he’s schedule will be lighter than most talents, he won’t be working scheduled like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar or Chris Jericho.
