The WWE main roster is loaded with talent right now, but there are a number of notable names who have been absent from television in recent weeks. Oba Femi hasn’t wrestled on television since he faced off against Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank, and LA Knight is in a similar situation as he has also not wrestled on television since he challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at the same event.
Sean Ross Sapp was recently asked about Oba Femi and LA Knight’s status during a Fightful Select Q&A and he noted that while both Femi and Knight are off TV right now, neither man is injured at the moment.
“Neither are hurt, based on what I’ve heard. LA Knight is healthy as well. He’s been working dark matches, he’s been working live events. I do not get it. I don’t understand. Why, when you’re fighting Friday night, just anything, when you’re fighting Monday Night Football, you’ve got Oba Femi healthy, you’ve got LA Knight healthy, you had Seth Rollins healthy, I don’t know if he is currently, because he hasn’t worked live events in a month and a half, but he was healthy in August and September, and you don’t put them on TV. I don’t understand it.”
Oba Femi has been involved in a feud with The Vision for some time now, but it’s heavily rumored that WWE is planning to book Femi vs. Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 43 next year. Knight had been involved in a storyline with The Bloodline, but that has seemingly wrapped up following his loss to Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank.
