It was a big weekend for the stars of NXT as the annual Halloween Havoc premium live event emanated from the WWE Performance Center on Saturday night. The show featured some interesting matches such as Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku.

During the match Shiloh Hill and Naraku both spit mist at one another then the brawled backstage. As they fell over a road case they were seemingly transported to some type of spooky dimension as the match turned into a cinematic match.

After walking through some spooky scenery, eventually Shiloh Hill and Naraku caught up with each other and a zombie referee encouraged them to fight. As they started battling they broke through a wall in the Performance Center then ended up in the ring where Shiloh Hill spit fog in Naraku’s face and pinned him to win the match.

It seems that the match might not have gone over so well as Dave Meltzer claimed on Wrestling Observer Radio that some people though the Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku match ruined the entire show.

“By the way, I heard from some people there and it was interesting their comments to me because it was like their basic comment was, ‘Yeah, Shiloh Hill and NARAKU ruined that entire show.'”

Cinematic style elements being integrated into wrestling matches usually receive a mixed reaction, and it sounds like this match is no exception. What was your reaction to Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku at Halloween Havoc? Sound off in the comments below.
