WWE Crown Jewel was originally set to emanate from a temporary outdoor stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the official Riyadh Season account announced today that the show is being moved. Even though Crown Jewel is moving locations it’s now being reported that the show is still planned for Riyadh.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Crown Jewel is being moved to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which is the same place that the Canelo vs. Mbilli fight is set to take place this weekend. However, it’s also being reported that is the current plan “of this hour.”
As of right now, the Crown Jewel show is being moved to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, the same place Saturday’s Canelo fight is taking place. So still in the city. Was also emphasized to me that is "that of this hour."
