After she challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble in 2023, Alexa Bliss disappeared from WWE programming. During her time away from the company she went through some big changes as Bliss welcomed her first child into the world.
Alexa Bliss finally returned to the ring after two years away when she entered the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble match. While talking about her return on a recent episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About? the former WWE Women’s Champion revealed to Brandi Rhodes that she made sure that she would be able to bring her daughter on the road with her.
“I worked it into my contract that she travels with me. I was like, ‘I need to be able to bring my daughter along. That’s non-negotiable.’ Because at the time, she was barely a year old, and I was like, ‘I’m not leaving her on the road multiple days a week.’ She has two touring parents because Ryan tours every weekend. He has for the past 10 years. He’s still on tour every weekend.
So I said, ‘She needs to go with one of us, and it’s going to be me.’ That was just something that involved a lot of growing pains because now, instead of traveling with two cute little bags, you’re traveling with 10 because you have, at first, a Pack ‘n Play, a travel Pack ‘n Play, a stroller, and a car seat. Now I’m very grateful for the opportunity to bring her on the road because I get to be there for everything.”
Earlier this month Alexa Bliss won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for the fifth time in her career alongside Tatum Paxley. Unfortunately for Bliss and Tatum their run was short-lived as they dropped the belts to Michin and B-Fab during last week’s episode of SmackDown.
