It’s always unfortunate when a professional wrestler suffers an injury, and last month Gurv Sihra, formerly known as Sunil Singh in WWE, revealed that he suffered a collapsed lung while wrestling at an independent event in Canada on September 19th.

Today Gurv Sihra shared a major update on his status as he announced that his lungs are back to normal when he posted the following:

“The road to recovery continues 💪🏾

X-Rays show my lungs are back to normal & there is very little air bubbles left in my chest-cavity from the collapsed lung

I still can’t fly at the moment, however, I should be cleared soon 🙏🏽👍🏾 Thank you all for your continued love & support.”

During the Pure Power Wrestling event on September 19th, Gurv competed alongside his brother as The Bollywood Boyz when they faced off against Shaun Martens & Sydney Steele. The Bollywood Boyz defeated their opponents to win the Pure Power Tag Team Championship. At the time Gurv Sihra was not aware of the full extent of the injury and managed to finish the match.
