Cody Rhodes has been one of the top stars in WWE for some time now, and it looks like The American Nightmare will continue to be part of the company for years to come.
During a recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast, Cody Rhodes revealed that he had re-signed with WWE when he said, “I just re-signed with WWE. So, I’ll end my wrestling career with WWE. But also, my wrestling career with WWE might continue, because I just spoke to the New York Times about this, we’re able to go do this stuff. So, say I do have another project, say I’ve got two other projects, whatever it may be, I’m able to take a step away.”
Cody did not reveal the length of the contract he signed, but it was noted in a recent New York Times article that Cody Rhodes signed a five year contract extension with WWE.
For months now Cody Rhodes has been involved in a heated feud with Randy Orton and their feud has been playing out on the SmackDown brand. Away from the ring Rhodes has been doing promotional work for Street Fighter which arrives in theaters this week. Cody also recently shared his thoughts on his future when it comes to acting, and you can get more on that here.
