WWE departures have become more and more of a regular occurrence throughout 2026, and now it appears that another wrestler is set to part ways with the company very soon.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that he’s confirmed Laynie Luck’s WWE ID contract is set to expire this week, and the deal will not be renewed.
It’s being said that the decision was seen as a surprise within WWE from sources that Fightful spoke to. Luck held the WWE ID Women’s Championship for 320 days before she ultimately dropped the belt to Monica Monroe.
Promoters who worked with Laynie Luck during her WWE Women’s ID Championship reign spoke highly of her willingness to not only work with any opponent, but also to lead them through matches if necessary. Despite the fact that she’s on her way out of the company, Laynie Luck will be appearing on upcoming episodes of EVOLVE for months to come due to the show’s taping schedule.
It’s also being reported that there are still signings from the recent WWE tryouts that have not been officially announced by the company as of this writing.
Stay tuned for updates.
