WrestleMania 43 is set to emanate from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever in 2027, but WWE has yet to officially announce a date for their biggest show of the year.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that they’ve learned WWE is in no hurry to make an announcement regarding the date for WrestleMania 43. Currently there are no plans to announce a date for the month of October.
Sources have indicated that publicly revealing the date is not a priority for WWE due to the circumstances involved with the event, such as how ticket distribution is going to work.
WWE is also essentially keeping any competition who might be looking to hold events in the United States in limbo. With no date revealed it’s harder for other promotions to plan major events, not just during WrestleMania weekend, but also when it comes to the structure of their pay-per-view calendar overall.
It’s being said that the longer WWE withholds the date for WrestleMania 43, the harder it becomes for other promotions to confidently make their plans for that time period. Sean Ross Sapp has noted that those tied to the Saudi show believe that the date for WrestleMania will be announced around Crown Jewel in November.
Stay tuned for updates.
