Seth Rollins has been consistently featured on WWE programming ever since he debuted on the main roster in 2012, but it’s been a while since fans have seen the former WWE Champion.
Back in August, Seth Rollins stepped up to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the night 2 SummerSlam live event in a match that Roman ultimately won, and Rollins has not been seen since.
During a recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, it was noted that Seth Rollins’ absence from television following SummerSlam was not originally supposed to be prolonged, but Seth is expected to return soon.
“The thing that I heard about Seth Rollins following SummerSlam is that this absence wasn’t supposed to be prolonged, but now we’re at week five. Next week will be week six.”
“So unless something changes, I haven’t heard his name in a while. He’ll be back relatively soon.”
It will be interesting to see who Seth Rollins ends up working with when he returns as he wrapped up his feud with The Vision months ago, and his match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam was advertised as a final chapter for the two former Shield members.
