During this week’s episode of NXT, Wren Sinclair challenged Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship, and Wren got distracted as Dion Lennox and Saquon Sugars entered the ring and brawled then continue to battle one another at ringside as the title match was happening. Zaria took advantage of the distraction when she hit Sinclair with the F5 then pinned her to retain the title.
Following the match Wren Sinclair approached Robert Stone backstage and told him she wants another shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Stone said he doesn’t know, so he’ll have to think about it.
Wren Sinclair then offered to “sweeten the pot” as she suggested that she’ll also put her Women’s Speed Championship on the line at Heatwave in order to make it a unification match. Robert Stone agreed then announced that next week Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey will team up to face Kali Armstrong & Kelani Jordan.

The Women’s Speed Championship was originally announced in August of 2024 as WWE introduced a special show called Speed that streamed exclusively on X. Candice LeRae went on to become the first Women’s Speed Champion in October of 2024. In August of 2025 it was announced that the men’s and women’s Speed Championships had been integrated into the NXT brand. Now it seems that either Wren Sinclair or Zaria will be the last Women’s Speed Champion depending on who wins at Heatwave.
