It’s never a good thing when a professional wrestler suffers an injury, and now it seems that yet another WWE star has been pulled from in-ring competition.
Dragon Lee revealed in an Instagram story that he underwent x-rays and a MRI which determined that he has a torn ligament in his thumb. Due to the injury Dragon Lee will not be competing at AAA Verano de Escandalo tonight. Lee was originally supposed to face off
“I wanted to tell you all about what happened today. I was already on the plane, about to take off for Aguascalientes. I want to apologize to everyone, since I won’t be able to make it to Aguascalientes because this Monday on Raw, I’m not sure exactly when or how, I sprained my finger. I’ve already had some X-rays and an MRI, and it turns out I have a collateral ligament tear. I can’t wrestle, and they told me to go home.”
Dragon Lee last stepped into the ring on Monday Night Raw when he teamed up with Je’Von Evans to face the team of Austin Theory and Bron Breakker on Monday Night Raw earlier this week. It’s not clear when he will be able to return to the ring.
Stay tuned for updates.
