Over the last few months a number of wrestlers who were thought to be WWE lifers have parted ways with the company. It’s clear that the landscape in WWE has been changing and it seems that another name could be on their way out of the company.
During Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden, Lyra Valkyria destroyed Bayley, and Lyra indicated that she ran Bayley out of the company on Raw when she said, “I’m probably glowing because I dropped the dead weight when I ran Bayley outta here.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the exact expiration date is unknown at this point in time, but Bayley’s current contract with WWE is believed to be up in quarter 4 of 2026. The report notes that Bayley would be able to appear for other companies such as AEW, CMLL and TNA Wrestling around October 2026 if she not to sign a new deal with WWE.
As of right now it’s not clear if Bayley is, or isn’t planning to leave the company, but it’s being said that her status is very much up in the air right now.
Fans have been speculating about Bayley’s future for months now as her friend Mercedes Mone has seemingly been teasing the idea of Bayley joining AEW on social media, so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months.
