You never know when a WWE Hall of Famer might join All Elite Wrestling as names like Mick Foley, Paul Wight, Mark Henry and more have all appeared on AEW programming in recent years. Now it seems that at least one Hall of Famer is no longer with the company.
During an interview with Bill Apter, WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts confirmed that he is officially done with All Elite Wrestling when he was asked what it’s like working for Tony Khan.
“Love it. Love it. I’ve just finished up working for him. I’m no longer employed by AEW. He is awesome, really is. A breath of fresh air.”
Back in March of 2020, Jake Roberts made a surprise appearance on AEW Dynamite when he confronted Cody Rhodes and warned him that he was bringing a client into AEW. The client turned out to be none other than Lance Archer. Roberts then continued work make appearances on AEW programming working as Lance Archer’s manager.
In October of 2024, Roberts acquired La Facción Ingobernable from Don Callis in exchange for Lance Archer. The Hall of Famer managed the group until he was taken off TV in November of 2024, and they returned to TV without Roberts in February of 2025. Jake Roberts had unfortunately been dealing with health issues over the last few years which affected his run with All Elite Wrestling.
