Jon Moxley had a successful run in WWE as Dean Ambrose, and he decided to jump ship to AEW back in 2019. Since then Moxley has been featured as one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling and he’s managed to become a four time AEW World Champion.
Over the last few years Moxley has been the leader of the Death Riders and the stable has received a healthy amount of TV time to say the least. While the Death Riders have their fans it appears that Bully Ray isn’t one of them.
While talking about the Death Riders on Busted Open Radio the WWE Hall of Famer criticized the Death Riders as he claimed that they haven’t helped All Elite Wrestling in any way. He also claimed that he would “kick the s**t out of Jon Moxley.”
“The Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, shape, or form. The Death Riders are Jon Moxley playing out his pro wrestling fantasies because he’s got Tony [Khan’s] ear. Because he wants to be Terry Funk? I would kick the s**t out of Jon Moxley. I’d beat the living s**t out of him. Fraud.”
Regardless of Bully Ray’s feelings about the Death Riders it seems unlikely that we’ll be seeing less of them on AEW programming in the weeks to come as they’ve been heavily featured as part of Will Ospreay’s current storyline.
