This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from London, England and the first match of the night featured a big title defense as Paige & Brie Bella put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line when they faced off against Lyra Valkyria & Bayley.
Both teams fought hard and it looked like Lyra had it won when she hit Nightwing on Paige, but Brie Bella broke up the pin. Lyra connected with a Fisherman’s Buster, but she didn’t pin Paige. Instead she picked Paige back up, and tried to hit the move again, but Paige reversed it into Rampaige for the win.
After the match Bayley tried to hype Lyra up and comfort her. As Bayley was leaving the ring Lyra snapped and turned on Bayley. She continued to attack the Role Model as WWE officials pulled her off Bayley.
For a moment Lyra sat in the corner and tried to catch her breath, but she then continued the assault as she picked Bayley up and hit her with Nightwing. The WWE officials finally convinced her to leave and she walked to the back as the segment came to an end.
After the show returned from commercial break Jackie Redmond attempted to interview Lyra, but she stayed silent and pretty much ignored Jackie as she walked away. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been teaming together since last year and now it seems that their run as a team has officially come to an end.
