Goldberg Reveals Honest Opinion Of Triple H

Goldberg made a name for himself in WCW and he later made the jump to WWE a few years after the company went out of business. Though Goldberg is a WWE Hall of Famer and a multi-time champion, there’s no denying that he’s had his fair share of ups and downs with the company over the years.

While talking about his first run with WWE in 2003 during an appearance on Going Ringside, Bill Goldberg explained why there was animosity between himself and Triple H after he joined the company.

“It was different at the time, because he and I couldn’t stand each other. We were both represented by the same agent, and we had a confrontation prior to me going to the WWE, and then, oh, by the way, he was married to Vince McMahon’s daughter, so I mean it was kind of like me walking into an unwinnable situation.”

Goldberg went on to indicate that his relationship with Triple H has improved since his early days with WWE when he added, “I think business prevailed, and truthfully, at the end of the day, he’s a good guy.”

Last year Goldberg stepped into the ring for his final match when he was defeated by Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. Unfortunately for Goldberg his retirement speech was cut off as the live broadcast ended shortly after the match, and you can get more details on his reaction to the situation here.
