The exciting thing about being a wrestling fan is that anyone can return at any time. You never know when a face from the past could make an appearance on WWE programming, and it’s being reported that a former WCW Champion is being considered for a return.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that Diamond Dallas Page has been discussed internally for a potential return to WWE programming in the near future.
At this point there’s no word on how he would be used, but a source confirmed that Page’s name had been circulating in creative discussions as recently as last month. The source noted that if plans for Diamond Dallas Page do indeed move forward then the expectation is that he would only be making a one off appearance instead of a recurring role as part of a storyline.
Diamond Dallas Page was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017, and he remains close with a number of WWE stars, such as current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
