The WWE Clash in Italy premium live event has come and gone and after the show the brackets for the King and Queen of The Ring tournaments were revealed. Many fans were baffled to see that Liv Morgan was being featured in the Queen of the Ring tournament as Liv is the current WWE Women’s World Champion.
According to Self Made Pro, WWE has future plans for Liv Morgan that involve Stephanie Vaquer, and Vaquer is not ready to return just yet, so it appears that Morgan being added to Queen of the Ring is just something to hold her over until La Primera is back in the ring.
“I asked about the Liv Morgan thing and basically the mentality is what they’ve planned out with her involves Stephanie Vaquer and she’s not ready yet. And so when she’s ready they will resume. My immediate retort was so why not just come up with something else in the in between time, but that’s just not how they operate for whatever f*****g reason. Basically, they’re gonna just do the next step with Stephanie. Stephanie’s hurt so Liv is just gonna exist in the meantime.”
Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer had been feuding for months on the road to WrestleMania 42, and Liv ultimately defeated Vaquer on the Grandest Stage of Them All to win the Women’s World Championship for the second time in her career. However, it seems that their feud is far from over.
