WWE has released a number of names over the last few years, but in recent weeks there’s been a lot of talk about possible returns, as it’s been rumored that WWE is interested in bringing Enzo Amore, Big Cass and Baron Corbin back.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that they spoke to sources who called Baron Corbin a locker room favorite, and spoke in a manner that they would like to see him return to WWE. It was noted that sources in WWE now believe that Corbin will be heading back to the company.
Fightful Select had finished up with MLW, and some of the other companies he had been working with regularly. Corbin recently pushed back on the idea that he is done wrestling for other companies when he posted the following on social media:
“Had to correct my horrible grammar. I accepted 8 shows in Europe. My eye is still swollen from Australia. I also didn’t know i was done with some of these companies. Who ever is making my schedule needs to let me know this shit. I thought it was me but apparently it’s not.”
