The WWE Backlash premium live event has come and gone and now all eyes are looking ahead to Clash in Italy. The big show is set to air live from the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy later this month, and you never know who might show up.
Recently a fan made a custom poster for Clash in Italy which features Santino Marella. The former WWE star commented on the poster and teased that an appearance at the show, “would be a full circle moment for sure.”

Santino Marella made his WWE debut during the April 16, 2007 episode of Raw in Milan, Italy. Marella was picked out of the audience and he went on to defeat Umaga to become the Intercontinental Champion in his very first match on Raw.
At this point in time it’s not clear if WWE has any plans for Santino Marella to make an appearance at Clash in Italy, but the idea is certainly not off the table as WWE’s working relationship with TNA Wrestling opens the door for this to potentially happen. Marella last competed in a WWE ring on the July 29, 2025 episode of NXT when he challenged Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship.
