It’s been a tough day for the WWE roster as multiple wrestlers have been released. Now it seems that even more surprising names have been cut as Fightful Select is reporting that Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, Kairi Sane, Tyson, Tyriek, Chris Island, Tyra Mae Steele, Sirena Linton, Trill London, Malik Blake and Luca Crusifino have been added to the list of names who were released from WWE. Bodyslam is also reporting that Apollo Crews is among the names who have been let go.
Fightful’s report also notes that while the majority of the talent who have been let go were released, but there may be some names who were notified that their contracts will not be picked up. Main roster releases will have to wait out a 90 day non-compete, while NXT releases will have to wait out a 30 day non-compete, and talents with expiring contracts will simply have to wait until their deals are up.
