The New Age Outlaws were without a doubt one of the most popular tag teams throughout the Attitude Era. It’s been a long time since they’ve teamed up, but there are a number of interesting dream match scenarios that could be discussed while talking about their career.
During a recent interview with Sirius XM, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn were asked which teams from today they would want to face in the Attitude Era. Billy Gunn named his sons when he said, “I’d want my kid. It is a good one because Austin is very much me, and Colton is him (Road Dogg). So, me and Austin would do a lot of work.”
Road Dogg named The Street Profits when he added, “I love the Street Profits, I think they’re great athletes. I think Montez is a superstar and everybody knows it. Dawkins is the unsung hero. Dawkins is an athlete of athletes. It would be them for me because I think they bring a cool dynamic, the cool energy.”

Road Dogg has not stepped into the ring since The New Age Outlaws faced The Ascension at the Royal Rumble in 2015, but Billy Gunn is still an active wrestler and last wrestled on 4/6 at the ROH tapings when he teamed with Brady Booker & Elijah Drago to defeat Baby Keef, Puma Johnson & Xander Maddox.
