Coming out of WrestleMania weekend there’s been a lot of talk about fan behavior. A number of fans have made it clear that they have no concept of boundaries as there were multiple reports of fans invading the private space of wrestlers as their hotels.

One of the big stories being talked about right now involves a fan who was attempting to record Bayley and AJ Lee as they were trying to share a private moment after Bayley told the fan to go away. CM Punk smacked the phone out of the fan’s hand and then security stepped in.

WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman commented on a video of the fan filming Bayley and AJ Lee, and Waltman claimed he was assaulted during WrestleMania week when he posted the following:

“That guy & all the rest like him can get f****d. It was insane how these people were. I got physically assaulted & camera shoved in my face, stalked in the bathroom, & more.”

Waltman responded to fan’s comment and clarified his issues with fans invading private space when he added, “I dont have a problem w people taking pictures or recording in public. It’s when you invade someone’s space, stick cameras in peoples faces, I have a problem with that.”

Unfortunately these negative interactions with fans became far too common throughout WrestleMania week. The incidents create obvious concerns regarding the need for more security, which will hopefully be addressed in the future.
