CM Punk stepped into the ring on Sunday night when he defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42. Unfortunately for Punk it was Roman Reigns who picked up the victory in a match that many are praising as an instant classic.
Following the show footage of CM Punk getting into an altercation with a fan has surfaced via TMZ. The footage shows a fan seemingly trying to record Bayley while she was hugging AJ Lee in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the Vegas Strip. CM Punk swatted the phone out of the fan’s hand then Ace Steel and security stepped in.
After security intervened the fan could be heard saying sorry to Punk, but Punk didn’t accept the apology as he said, “No you’re not.” Punk then left with AJ Lee. According to the report the incident occurred just after midnight on Monday.
A fan who claimed to have been there as the incident took place also added extra context to the situation when they posted the following:
“I was standing right there last night when it happened, fan out his arm around Punks wife for a selfie after she had said no.. totally warranted and anyone else would do the same thing..”

At this point in time it’s not clear what’s next for CM Punk following his loss at WrestleMania, but he is currently being advertised Raw tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
