WrestleMania 42 kicked off on Saturday with night 1 which aired live from Allegiant Stadium. The show featured some big moments as Paige returned to the company, and Cody Rhodes managed to retain his title when he defeated Randy Orton in the night 1 main event.

The action continued on Sunday and night 2 of WrestleMania 42 kicked off with the highly anticipated Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar match. Oba Femi received a huge reaction from the fans at Allegiant Stadium as he made his entrance and walked down the ramp at WrestleMania for the very first time in his career. Paul Heyman accompanied Brock Lesnar to the ring and did the ring introduction for The Beast Incarnate.

Brock Lesnar struggled with Oba Femi early on as Femi no sold Lesnar’s offense then knocked The Beast down with a clothesline. Lesnar got frustrated as he grabbed the ring stairs and teased throwing them in the ring before he dropped them.

The action spilled to the outside and Lesnar threw Femi into the steps. He followed up by bringing Femi back in the ring and taking him to Suplex City with three German suplexes. Shortly after Brock connected with the F5. Oba Femi quickly got back up and delivered a chokeslam followed by the Fall From Grace and pinned Lesnar to win the match.

After the match Oba Femi looked shocked as he walked up the ramp while Brock Lesnar sold the pain from the Fall From Grace inside the ring. After Oba left Brock took off his gloves and he was in tears as he took off his boots then left his gear in the ring. The fans chanted “NO!”

Paul Heyman got in the ring and hugged Lesnar as he cried. Lesnar posed for the fans and kissed the ring before he left. As he walked up the ramp the fans chanted “Thank you Brock,” and he thanked the fans before leaving the WrestleMania stage for the last time.
