WrestleMania season has been rough for Cody Rhodes to say the least. Randy Orton destroyed him after The Viper signed the contract for their title match at WrestleMania, and in recent weeks Rhodes has been tormented by Pat McAfee who has formed an alliance with Orton on the road to WrestleMania 42.
During last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Jelly Roll were both laid out by Randy Orton and Pat McAfee, and McAfee walked out of the arena with the Undisputed WWE Championship. Over the last few days McAfee has put the Undisputed WWE Championship on display during the Pat McAfee Show, but the belt is no longer in his possession.
Today Pat McAfee revealed security footage showing that Cody entered the set after hours and took a baseball bat to McAfee’s framed photo of himself with Randy Orton. Rhodes then knocked over a microphone, took the Undisputed WWE Championship back, knocked over a chair, stole a laptop, and left.

Cody Rhodes will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the night 1 main event at WrestleMania 42, and now it seems that the champion will be able to walk into Allegiant Stadium with his title.
