This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured the return of Jelly Roll. The singer crossed paths with Randy Orton backstage, and he congratulated The Viper on securing another title shot ahead of his appearance on Miz TV. As The Miz was making his way out to the ring for Miz TV, he was cursed by Danhausen.
When Jelly Roll and The Miz finally met in the ring, Miz tried to take credit for Jelly Roll’s weight loss. The conversation quickly became heated as Miz told Jelly Roll, “I liked you a lot better when you were fat.” Jelly Roll quickly fired back with, “Dawg, fat or skinny, I will whip your a**.”
Kit Wilson’s music hit and Kit confronted Jelly Roll in the ring. Wilson said that Jelly Roll is a problem, but Jelly insisted that he likes Kit and he tried to prove it by doing Kit’s signature dance. Wilson got angry as he accused Jelly Roll of mocking him.
As Wilson continued he told Jelly Roll that he’s running away from what he truly is, and he claimed Jelly is fatphobic. Jelly Roll started cracking up. Wilson called Jelly Roll toxic, then the singer started to get angry as he got in Kit Wilson’s face.
They argued for a minute and Kit shoved Jelly Roll. For a moment Jelly Roll paused then he turned around as he attempted to hit Kit Wilson, but Kit moved out of the way at the last second and Jelly Roll dropped The Miz as he struck the former WWE Champion. Kit Wilson then retreated.
After the commercial break Miz and Kit Wilson were seen walking together backstage. Wilson told Miz that he’s going to talk to Nick Aldis. After Wilson left Danhausen approached The Miz, and Miz told him to go away.
Later in the show it was announced that Kit Wilson will call out Jelly Roll next week on SmackDown.
