Recently formed AAA star Nino Hamburguesa went viral after a video showing him getting into a physical altercation with a fan went viral on social media.
The incident occurred on 3/3 at an independent event at Arena Aficion in Pachuca after a fan who was sitting in the front row laughed at Hamburguesa when he slipped. Hamburguesa then sat on the fans lap and used his elbow to strike the fan. WWE officials then saw the video and the decision was made to fire Nino Hamburguesa.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Hamburguesa was very popular with the talent who were unhappy that it happened, and wished the outcome was different. However, it’s being said that talent understood with WWE owning AAA you can’t be doing stuff like that.
Talent were told about Hamburguesa getting fired on 3/6 and were told to never touch a fan. Talent have done this at other shows, but since it didn’t go public nothing ever transpired from those incidents.
Moving forward AAA is not allowing any of their talent to work the independent shows that he’s on, which means Nino Hamburguesa is losing most of his independent bookings as well.
