The build for the Elimination Chamber premium live event continued this week on Monday Night Raw in Atlanta, GA and the first match of the night saw Jey Uso, Bronson Reed and Original El Grande Americano face off in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
During the match Original El Grande Americano pinned Jey Uso and Bronson Reed broke up the pin. After breaking up the pin Reed seemed to be favoring his arm. Reed was later shown sitting on the floor outside the ring as WWE medical checked on him, and he did not return to the match after leaving the ring.
Later in the show Michael Cole announced that Bronson Reed suffered a bicep tear, and the injury will keep him out of action indefinitely. Bronson Reed is now the third member of The Vision to be sidelined due to injury as Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are both on the shelf.
Jey Uso ended up pinning Original El Grande Americano to pick up the win and qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber match. Following the match it was reported that an audible had to be called as Bronson Reed was originally expected to win.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bronson Reed’s status as they become available.
