It’s been a while since fans have seen Britt Baker as she has not stopped into an AEW ring since she defeated Penelope Ford on the 11/13/24 episode of Dynamite.
Adam Glyn recently caught up with Britt Baker and asked the former AEW Women’s World Champion if she had anything to tell the fans who are waiting for her to return to wrestling.
“I just love that the fans are still talking about me, so keep the chatter up. I love it, and just stay tuned,” Baker told the fans. When asked if she’s retired, Baker added, “I would not say I’m retired. No.”
In addition to her work inside the ring, Britt Baker is well known for being a dentist. However, she confirmed that she is no longer doing dental work full time anymore due to some scary wrestling fans.
“Not full time anymore. As much as I love wrestling fans, they’re a little passionate. Sometimes for their own good, and for my own safety, it got a little carried away sometimes with some scary wrestling fans wanting to come kill me because I’m a bad guy.”
At this point in time it’s not clear if there are any plans for Britt Baker to return to AEW programming, but earlier this month Tony Khan commented on her status when he said, “I would expect to see Britt back in AEW. I just don’t want to say when.”
