This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw aired live from Memphis, TN and the show mostly focused on the build for the Elimination Chamber premium live event. Some of Raw’s biggest names appeared on the show, but Xavier Woods was absent.
During a commercial break Kofi Kingston announced that Xavier Woods is out of action because he’s been battling a shoulder injury for three months. Kingston claimed that the medical team forced Woods to take time off in order for his shoulder to recover.
Grayson Waller then went on to read a message from Woods which said, “I would have love to come to Monday Night Raw tonight and make this gigantic announcement, but the last place I would want to be is in a povo town like Memphis (Waller clarified that “povo” is an Australian word he taught Woods that means poverty). Judging by their teeth and faces there’s clearly something in the water there that keeps the people in a miserable state of ugliness. How can I recover from an injury in a place where the people can’t even recover from being ugly?”
