It seems that the injury bug is unfortunately going around at the moment as a number of WWE stars are currently sitting on the sidelines, and now another name is out of action.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Chelsea Green competed in a triple threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match which was ultimately won by Tiffany Stratton. Green was originally scheduled to defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles alongside Ethan Page during the AAA show on February 7, but she was pulled from the card due to an ankle injury.

Originally it was reported that Chelsea Green’s ankle injury was a bruise, not a break, but it appears that the injury is much more serious. Today Chelsea took to social media to confirm that her ankle is broken, and she also shared the x-ray when she posted the following:

This is an unfortunate situation for Chelsea Green to say the least as she has been consistently featured on Friday Night SmackDown for some time now. There’s currently no word on whether or not WWE will be keeping her off TV while she heals up, but it seems that she will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
